Biznesmeni Dzanashvili: Nuk kam financuar PS, jam mik i Shqipërisë

Amiran Dzanashvili, biznesmeni i akuzuar mediatikisht dhe politikisht si financues i fushatës elektorale të Partisë Socialiste në vitin 2013, me para të dyshimta, në një reagim për mediat, ka mohuar të gjitha akuzat, duke theksuar se është vetëm një investitor serioz që ka hapur vetëm biznese të ligjshme në vendin tonë.

"Më vjen shumë keq që emri dhe biznesi im janë përdorur për qëllime politike në një fushatë politike në Shqipëri. Më vjen keq që institucionet e pavarura janë përdorur politikisht për të hedhur baltë mbi emrin dhe biznesin tim. Kam punuar në Shqipëri me ndershmëri prej shumë vitesh, njoh shumë politikanë por nuk kam financuar asnjë individ apo parti politike. Zoti Berisha dhe zoti Rama e dinë shumë mirë këtë."

Dzanashvili mohon gjithashtu çdo lidhje miqësore apo biznesi me Mark Frrokun, deputetin e shumicës që akuzohet për një sërë veprash penale.

"Është e vërtetë që kam blerë 50% të aksioneve të Xhoilloto-s nga Mark Frroku, i cili kur e kam takuar shumë vite më parë më është dukur biznesmen normal. Nuk e kisha takuar kurrë më parë dhe nuk dija asgjë për jetën apo aktivitetin e tij kriminal jashtë vendit. Nuk kam bërë asnëj biznes tjetër me të përveç se kam blerë aksionet e tij në një kompani shqiptare, ku investova. Marku nuk është miku im dhe as partner në ndonjë biznes timin."

Por megjithëse pranon se po e humb besimin te Shqipëria për shkak të këtyre pretendimeve, dhe gjiashtu se është nën hetim në Rumani, Dzanashvili thotë se mbi të nuk rëndon asnjë akuzë, madje këto ditë pretendon se ndodhet në Londër duke biseduar me një biznesmen të respektuar për të hapur një universitet privat në Tiranë.

I have been informed by my lawyer in Albania that the media of this country is writing and talking about myself and my businesses in many instances. There is negative talk and I am wrongly and illegally accused of criminal behavior. Mr. Berisha has also written about myself today, claiming untruthfully that I have financed Edi Rama's campaign in 2013.

I am very sorry that my name and businesses have been used for political purposes in a political campaign in Albania. I am sorry that independent institutions are used politically to throw mud at my name and businesses. I can declare solemnly and truthfully that I have done normal and legitimate business in Albania. I have bought Xhoilloto, together with my partner Ofer Nimrodi, and have also invested in the oil business, trading and retail in Albania. All these businesses are legitimate, clean and correct to every detail. I have paid regular taxes, in millions of euros every year in Albania, and have not been able to make any profits from all these businesses. I have invested, but not made any money back yet.

I am losing my faith in Albania. Foreign investors, not only are not making money in Albania, but are attacked illegally and mixed in political games for evil purposes. I have met Sali Berisha in Albania and Israel. I have met Edi Rama in Albania and Israel. I have met Ilir Meta in Albania and Israel. I have helped them, and Albania as a country, by bringing many foreign investors to this country. I am a friend of Albania and a very serious foreign investor.

It is true that I have bought 50% of Xhoilloto shares from Mark Frroku, who seemed to me like a normal businessman, when I met him many years ago. I had never met or known Mark before, and I knew nothing about his life or past criminal activity abroad. I have never done any business with him, other than buy his shares in an Albanian company, where I invested. Mark is not my friend and not my partner in any business.

I have been working honestly in Albania for many years. I know many politicians, but I have never financed any political parties or individuals in Albania. Everything said about this is a lie.

It is also true that I am under investigation in Romania, but not accused or charged with any crimes. I am not arrested and I am not in jail, as Albanian media claims. I have nothing to do with this illegal activity, and very soon the investigations will prove this. It is a universal principle that everybody is innocent until found guilty by a court of law. I have never been convicted of any crimes, because I run honest business and am a very honest businessman.

I will ask the politicians and the media in Albania to stop the attacks against myself and my business. This is a terrible example you are giving to foreign investors. It is not possible to do big business in Albania without meeting the Prime Minister and the Ministers, so I have met with them as an investor. Decisions are very centralized in this country, and foreign investors have to deal with politicians in order to move the business ahead. This is a bad practice in a

Albania, especially when these contacts are used for political attacks, as in my case.

I will not accept these attacks any longer. I will take to court any politician or media that will illegally attack me and my businesses. These attacks are shameful and very detrimental to myself and to Albania. You can not progress without foreign investment, but you must learn to respect foreign investors.

I am in London today, talking to a very respectful businessman for opening a private and prestigious university in Tirana. How can I convince him, when my own honest investments are attacked brutally, with crazy fabricated facts of wrongdoing.

I have done only good to Albania, Mr. Berisha and Mr. Rama know this very well. I have invested a lot of money and made no profits yet. Please respect me for my contribution to this country and stop all politically motivated attacks. I have done nothing wrong in Albania, but only good.
