Ekspozita "Fidel", prezantohen rreth 300 foto nga jeta e tij

Historiani Eusebio Leal inaguroi një ekspozitë të veçantë të titulluar "Fidel" për nder të 90-vjetorit të ish-liderit kuban, Fidel Castro.

Rreth 300 fotografi, portrete të Fidel dokumentojnë jetën e ish-liderit që nga fëmijëria e tij deri në ditët e fundit para se të tërhiqej nga skena politike.

I ftuar në këtë ekspozitë ishte edhe i biri i Fidel Castro-s, Alex Castro, i cili e vlerësoi eventin si një nderim për trashëgiminë e revolucionit kuban.

Ai u shpreh se ditëlindja e Fidel duhet të jetë një ditë e rëndësishme për të gjithë botën, e sidomos për ata që janë të shtypur e të skllavëruar nga kapitalizmi.

Sipas vetë organizatorit, përmes kësaj ekspozite nuk festohet vetëm një seri vitesh, por jeta produktive e një burri i cili nuk ishte hyjnor ose diçka më shumë se një burrë i zakonshëm.

Një fotograf pjesëmarrës në ekspozitë, u shpreh se jo vetëm fotografëve i mungon Fidel-i, por edhe Obama-s i cili nuk arriti ta takonte ish-liderin gjatë vizitës së tij në Kuba.

Edhe pse Castro është nderuar nga shumë si çlirimtari i Kubës nga dominimi amerikan, të tjerë nuk kanë qenë dakort me kontrollin e tij të tejzgjatur mbi ishullin dhe me ëndrrat e tij utopike, të cilat kanë bërë që shumë kubanë të duan të emigrojnë drejt Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës.
