The Covid-19 Curve Remains High, Increasing The Number Of Hospitalized

Today has again recorded high figures with Covid-19. Inthe last 24 hours, 4 victims and 154 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported.Meanwhile, a serious situation arises in Covid hospitals, as 164 patients arehospitalized.

The geographical distribution of positive daily cases isas follows: 76 cases in Tirana, 15 cases in Lezha, 13 cases in Kruja, 7 casesin Korca, 6 cases in Kavaja, 5 cases in Shkodra, Durres, Kurbin, Lushnje, 4cases in Fier , Elbasan, Berat, Gjirokastra, 2 cases in Vlora, Kamza, Selenica,Klos and 1 case each in Devoll, Mirdita, Librazhd, Mat, Pogradec, Malësi eMadhe, Kolonjë.

Victims - In the two COVID hospitals, they could not win the battle with the disease; a 55-year-old from Tirana, a 62-year-old from Lezha, a 63-year-old from Librazhd, an 85-year-old from Elbasan, with concomitant diseases. We express our condolences to the family.

Inpatients - Currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and "Shefqet Ndroqi" are treated 164 patients confirmed positive with COVID-19, 14 in intensive care of which 5 patients are intubated. We would like to inform you that in the two COVID hospitals 39 citizens are also receiving specialized services who have been positive with COVID-19 and are currently negative, but are continuing to receive hospital treatment for the consequences of the disease. In addition to confirmed positive patients with COVID19, in the two COVID hospitals continue to receive treatment also suspected patients, who are being treated according to the relevant protocols.

New cases - Out of the total number of tests, 168 people were confirmed positive with COVID-19.

Testing - During our last 24 hours 878 tests have been performed.

Healed - 102 citizens have won the battle with COVID19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of healed to 4633 since the beginning of the epidemic.
