Full interview

Ora News: How did you read the message of former Prime Minister Berisha, according to which the seizure of the archive and the television server of ORA NEWS is being urgently requested?

Brahim Shima: In the first place, any denunciation of the initiatives against the two televisions is worth thanking. Mr. Berisha is the second time that publishes the denunciations. The first was for "Iliryan Guard" which fortunately was not realized and the second the issue of the archive.

We had information underground but we considered it as aprocedural initiative but the debate was not just procedural. Apparently the tendencycomes to eliminate not only history. Fear comes about what is not given and notwhat is given.

It is known that the online server is extremely secure, but also the materials over the years of television, ongoing investigations orwritten materials are well maintained and I assure you that no one can infringeon them.

Ora News: What does it mean to seize the archive of a television?

Brahim Shima: It is the memory of 15 years of history. So I have no guarantee that the one who will receive it will not delete all the materials I have. Anyone can erase a historical test that has been put to the test by journalists over the years.

It is enough to violate only this part, it would be acatastrophe. It makes no sense. It is directly inserted into the brain of atelevision and this is totally unacceptable. I hope they do not carry thisinitiative to the end as it would be a flagrant violation.

This is a danger that should not be allowed to us. But Iassure you that even those materials that have been promised to be published, and we keep our word even those that are under investigation are secured andcannot be touched.

Brahim Shima: For days Mr. Ndroqi is not in the television premises as there is the state administrator. The backstage started on August 1 and the attack with Renea.

The initiative to come with weapons and armor .. debateto bring the Illyrian Guard .. and the debate over archives is a backstageform. It seems that something continues to be played underground while we arefair.

The administrator of the state continues the daily work, also the news , and there is no need if we are going to talk about justice, ifwe are talking about eliminating the political attack then these behind thescenes should stop here.

There is no need to be endlessly provoke for everythingto be done. I believe everyone has noticed that TV has not dealt with SPAKeither, at least with the case of Mr. Ndroqi. We did not deal with Mr. Ndroqi'sfile either, but with the news and denouncing any case that will be requestedto be made against RTV Ora and Ora News.

Tv Ora and Ora News is a screen, is neither store norproperty and in this case we are obliged. I thank all those who support us bywarning us of such initiatives or by stopping such initiatives.

Ora News: You have stated that if there are any violations of the editorial line, you will make it public. Were there any violations of the editorial line?

Brahim Shima: No, I keep insisting that no. To date there has been no breach, no attempt to change the editorial line. The parties are in their place. Just as there was no interference in the news before August, even today there is no interference in the news, even though here is the administrator of the state.

I believe, and I am convinced that this line willcontinue in terms of shows starting in September.

Ora News: Have all procedures been carried out by Taxes and other institutions?

Brahim Shima: One of the denunciations was the tax initiative. I believe it is a normal procedure. I do not have an attempted attack data. I hope it is not the idea to create as much pressure as possible in a short time. Controls have been done before and will continue to be done.

Ora News: How did you see the support of journalists?

Brahim Shima: The support continues to be great. Whether we like it or not, we cannot escape these developments.

I believe that in a few days there will be new facts ofthe trial which I would not like to stop at these moments but I believe thatwith their appearance the reaction of journalists, politicians and analystswill be greater even within the day and abroad. We will wait. The days willpass and everything will become more transparent.

Greater support is given by the staff who are returningevery day more and more. Those who have been engaged in shows are alsoreturning.

Ora News: Will we have news in the new season?

Brahim Shima: We will have news. There will be many more problems besides elections. The preparations for the show "Two Worlds" have started. It must be said that the administrator is open to continue and the process does not stop. It will be prime time shows at 9pm.

Advertising funding remains a problem. The partners sofar have supported us, I hope they will support us even further, seeing thetruth that will come out.

But the biggest support is journalists. In a month wehave shown that journalists are strong and professional in what they do.Journalism is not a job, it is a profession. Within a few days there will bevery important developments and with these developments the truth of whathappened will be revealed.

I believe and hope that the political initiative towardstelevision stops here. I hope that the clashes between TV Ora and Ora News withthe government do not stop here because if there are no contradictions with thegovernment, it means that it is not doing its job.

Nobody in power likes critical news and in this casethere will always be resistance. I therefore hope that this will not be thelast to encourage journalists to be professional in their task.
