High Covid-19 Figures Continue, 152 New Cases And Two Victims In 24 Hours

The high figures of Covid-19 in the country continue. Duringthe last 24 hours 864 tests have been done and 152 people have been confirmedpositive.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases isas follows: 73 cases in Tirana, 19 cases in Korça, 9 cases in Berat, 8 cases inDurrës, 7 cases in Kukës, 6 cases in Lezha, 5 cases in Shkodra, 3 cases inElbasan , Kavaja, 2 cases in Kruja, Vlora, Kamza, Mat, Gjirokastra, Klos, 1case in Fier, Lushnje, Rogozhina, Vau I Dejës, Gramsh, Kuçovë, Maliq.
Healed - In the last 24 hours 110 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of healed to 4096, since the beginning of the epidemic.
Hospitalized - Currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and "Shefqet Ndroqi" are treated 137 patients confirmed positive with COVID-19, 24 in intensive therapy of which 7 patients are intubated.
We would like to inform you that in both hospitals COVIDare also receiving specialized services and 28 citizens who have been positivewith COVID-19 and are currently negative, but are continuing to receivehospital treatment for the consequences of the disease. Patients suspected ofhaving COVID19 continue to be treated, according to the relevant protocols.
Victims - Despite the efforts of doctors, unfortunately in the two COVID hospitals, 2 patients could not win the battle with the disease, a 61-year-old from Korça and an 83-year-old from Mirdita with concomitant diseases. We express our condolences to the family.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection calls oncitizens not to reduce vigilance for any moment. To maintain physical distance,to put the mask necessarily indoors and wherever distance is not maintained, totake care of personal hygiene. Businesses and public institutions must strictlyimplement the approved safety protocols, to safeguard the health of citizens.
