Filtering Of Candidates In DP, The First Selection On August 25
A few days before September, when the "politicalfortune" is expected to start, the blue headquarters continues the workfor the next parliamentary elections that will be held in the spring of 2021.
The members of the Commission for the Evaluation ofCandidacies in the Democratic Party, continue to filter the names proposed bythe base for the parliamentary and local elections.
It is learned that most of the proposals have beenfiltered. On August 25, the end of the first selection will become official,where only 1 thousand names will pass the "vetting".
The Democratic Party guideline sets out the criteriathat candidates must meet, which relate to the profile they have in the branchor county, integrity and high professional training as well as the standards ofdecriminalization and decommunization.
This process will then move on to the second phase, inwhich the remaining names in the list are expected to be selected again. Topass to the third filter from which about 300 people will remain.
After that, the membership of this political force willbe vetoed by voting "one member one vote". At this point there willbe no pro vote, but only disqualification.
The candidate who has more than 20% "contestedvote", in relation to the total number of Party members in that Branch orDistrict, is removed from the list of confirmed candidates and is included inthe list of candidates whose approval is postponed.
The list of candidates will be formalized in thepresidency of the Democratic Party and will be submitted for approval to theNational Council.
