Rama: Some Albanians Are Getting Angry Because I Did Not Go To Minsk, Albania Is Doing Its Best

Through a Twitter post, Prime Minister Rama reacted tothe comments of his missing visit to Minsk, Belarus.

Rama writes that he does not go there for a selfie inprotest, but to communicate with the government and the opposition.

Rama adds that communications are continuing and thatAlbania is doing its best together with Sweden.

Rama: Some Albanians of great politics who fly high, are getting angry because I did not go to Minsk and I lost a chance to Albania! In Minsk, the OSCE does not go for selfies in protest, but to communicate with the government and the opposition, which requires the approval of both parties.

I am proud of the fact that despite the cursed time of the pandemic, our OSCE leadership has successfully carried out the promised work and gained international respect and trust, as clearly shown by the EU reference to the OSCE bid for Minsk.

We have not made public the frequent communications these days with high-level actors in the EU and not only, because this is the nature of work at this stage, but I want to assure all those interested in this topic that Albania is doing really the best, along with Sweden.
