PM Rama on reforms: "The opposition is the only opponent of the reforms"

Prime Minister Rama was in Pogradec today to address the new members of the Socialist Party. He made a summary of the government's work so far, and claimed that the opposition is the primary enemy of the reforms.According to him, the difficult political situation is because of the absence of a true opposition. He said: "It is not an easy political situation. The absence of a challenging opposition, with a vision and a program, makes the governance more difficult.Meanwhile the presence of an old government that does nothing but slander us makes it difficult for people to view politics with respect. Everything the government does is being attacked and criminalized, and this is only because we are making reforms that create opponents, and affect many interests. Why do you think that the interior minister is attacked the most by the old government? It's because he is a courageous leader in a battle that affects people's interests.A party that calls itself an opposition has organized more than 1000 conferences in two and a half years, just to slander the Minister of Interior. They slander him because their interests are being damaged."- said Mr. Rama. Also in Pogradec, the socialist Mp Bashkim Fino spoke about the recent activities of Ben Blushi. He said that Blushi is using the party statutes to attack the prime Minister from within. According to him, Blushi is not concerned about the party, but only about the chairmanship. "I think that the first concern should be about the socialist organization," he said. "It is the main force that will bring victory either in the local elections or in central elections. Maybe some have personal goals, and this is normal. But our first interest should be in the larger family of the Socialist Party. You cannot wage a political war using the statutes, and attack the government for its reforms"-said Fino. He expressed the opinion that after the victory in 2013, holding elections within the party would have been pointless./Oranews.tv/
