Kryemadhi: Besa Shahini Cannot Leave Without Telling Us What Turi Did
For days, the chairwoman of the SMI, Monika Kryemadhi, together with the chairwoman of the LRI, Floida Kërpaçi have held meetings withyoung people from Tirana and all of Albania to listen to their problems but alsoto explain the SMI program.
The focus of the Prime Minister's meetings is youth andespecially education issues.
Based on the statements of the Minister of EducationBesa Shahini who announced his departure but without specifying when, Kryemadhisays that Besa Shahini should not be allowed to leave office without firstgiving an account of those, which according to her Besa Shahini has done to thedetriment of education.
Monika Kryemadhi: We believe in young people and by believing in young people we always managed to win important battles and in fact for a family the most important thing is the children.
For a family, the education of children is the most important. For a family the future of the children is more important. Parents for children do everything.
Parents for children give their lives and we as the SMI have all our base, all our strength in the youth and there we will invest in the commitment of young people to be involved in them, to be part of decision-making.
Some of you have been victims of the state matura, others are still unsure what will happen to the state matura and then we hear the minister say that "I will leave now that I finished work and no longer stay in Albania."
How can she escape without being held accountable for what she has done? At least give us an answer to what Turi did. Do not let others decide your fate! Decide for yourself!
Meanwhile, the chairwoman of the Youth Movement forIntegration, Floida Kerpaçi said that the SMI has a clear program to ensurethat young people do not leave the country by providing safe and well-paid jobsthat appreciate the hard work and sweat of young people.
