Energy Debtors, the government will implement new mitigation plans
The Energy Distributor OSHEE has announced a new mitigation plan for people with backed up energy debts. The new plan is going to be valid for all those who have not made an agreement yet with the energy company.Official sources say that the first plan is for those who have a debt of up to 100,000 new lek. They may pay the debt in 6 installments over six months. If the consumer chooses to pay the amount over only two months, they will benefit from a 50% reduction of the debt.The reduction will be made during the last installment.The second plan will be offered to those who owe as much as 300,000 new lek. They will be able pay the money in 12 installments, but if they choose to pay it over just three months, they will benefit from a 50% reduction.A third plan is for those who owe up to 600,000 new lek to OSHEE. They will get the reduction if they pay over within months.Finally, for those who owe more than 600,000 lek, the amount can be paid over 36 installments.
