Prime Minister Edi Rama asked the mayor of Fier to urgently determine a significant location for the Fier Regional Hospital.
Rama was in Fier in a meeting with and with the Minister of Health where he informed that on Monday come the people in charge of this work from Turkey and that the hospital will be built in three months.
"We urgently need to determine a significant location for the Fier Regional Hospital, which will serve the south of Albania and beyond. It is not only construction, but also technology transfer. The hospital will be built in three months.
We need to urgently define the area, which should be significant, on the side of the highway, not far from it. There must be access to infrastructure, water and electricity.
Work starts next week. On Monday come the people in charge of this work, for the measurements, they are getting the project ready.
The hospital will be public, part of the network of public hospitals. It will serve with the same standards in financial terms, so it will be a free service for all citizens.
The hospital will initially be managed by the human resources of the health system of the Republic of Turkey.
"For a period of time it will be administered by the human resources of the health system of the Republic of Turkey. Doctors and nurses will be recruited with all the necessary standards. The manager, the chief of human resources, the chiefs of the pavilions will be of Turkey. For a period of time it will be done in this form until it is completely transferred to our doctors."
Rama asked Subashi to set up a team of three people to deal only with this work.
"We will put everything at his service. No crawling. This is your job. This work should be done in the blink of an eye. You have to set up a team of three here to do just that. They have no job they come to ask we need this and that. These are what we will do. The Minister has appointed a person only for Fier, we will do this job successfully. "
