Rama In Turkey, DP Sues In SPAK Him And 15 Ministers, Mayors And Deputies
Activities like this, where the Prime Minister hands over the keys to a family home as part of the reconstruction process, just a few months before the elections, are banned by a decision of the Central Election Commission.
With the accusation of abuse of office and use of public office for political or electoral activities, the Democratic Party has sued the SPAK Prime Minister Edi Rama, Ministers Elisa Spiropali, Arben Ahmetaj, Anila Denaj and Belinda Balluku, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party Taulant Balla, the Chairman of the Municipality of Tirana Erion Veliaj, 5 other mayors and deputies and directors.
In the report held by the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, as an example of violations are listed some activities related to the reconstruction after the earthquake, where public resources and money are used, as well as the issuance of legalization certificates or other public investments in which senior SP leaders are involved.
DP urges the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to become the conductor of the voice of honest citizens who believe that the law is equal for all and to show by deeds that the Albanian law enforcement bodies will bring to justice any violators of the law.
