Erdogan Agrees With Rama: We Will Not Allow "FETO" To Poison Relations Between Our Two Countries

"We will not allow the terrorist organization "FETO" to poison the relations between our two countries."

This was the message conveyed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Rama in Ankara regarding Fethullah Gülen's organization, known as "FETO".

Erdogan: One of the main items on the agenda of our meetings was our cooperation in the fight against terrorism and in the military and defense fields. We together with the Albanian authorities agree that the terrorist organization of Feto poses a threat to both countries.

We will not allow FETO to poison the relations between the two countries and in this case Turkey, headed by the Maarif Foundation and all other relevant institutions will be close to Albania.

The Maarif Foundation, which took over New York University in Tirana together with Istanbul Technical University, will have the rector come here and the first steps of cooperation between the two countries will be taken.

There are currently 100 Albanian students studying at Istanbul Technical University. With this step we have taken a very important step in the cooperation between the two countries in education.
