IQC Member Brunilda Bekteshi Is Being Sued By The SPAK
After former IQC member Luan Daci is facing courtcharges of forging documents, another member of the vetting body is beingcharged with property irregularities.
The Association "Justice for Justice" has denouncedin SPAK the member of IQC Brunilda Bekteshi, referring to the publications madein the media in recent days regarding undeclared assets.
The plaintiff asks the Chief Prosecutor of SPAK, ArbenKraja to investigate Brunilda Bekteshi regarding a contract for the sale andpurchase of an apartment in 2007, in the amount of 3,100,000 ALL, with cash inhand.
Two days later, in 2009, a bank loan was taken to buythe apartment, in the amount of 54 thousand euros, while the documentationstates that the loan was taken to buy the apartment that was actually bought in2007.
Regardingthis property, the report states that there is no contract for the purchase ofthe apartment after receiving the loan in 2009. Also, the bank loan receivedwas repaid within a period of 5 years, creating doubts about the secured incomefor closing the loan.
Thereport further states that these data were not accurately reflected by BrunildaBekteshi in the declaration of assets during her tenure as commissioner in2017. Based on these data, the Justice Association requests that the SPAKinvestigate KPC member Brunilda Belkeshi for the charge of refusal to declare,non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets.
