US Ambassador Yuri Kim has once again appealed to theleaders of the two largest parties instead of adhering to the commitments ofthe June 5 agreement on electoral reform.
"We remind Prime Minister Edi Rama, Lulzim Basha and all other leaders of all the commitments they have made in relation to the June 5 agreement and any measures beyond that. Commitment, proposals and counter-proposals must be in good faith. I will always support you, but YOU - the leaders - are the responsible party," she wrote on twitter.
The message of the American diplomat comes at a timewhen discussions in the Political Council have frozen.
The red line is the opening of lists and pre-electioncoalitions.
The extra-parliamentary opposition demands thepreservation of the old formula for coalitions and for this it seeks in advancethe expertise of the OSCE-ODIHR.
Onthe other hand, the Socialist Party has made its proposals and warns that it willvote at any cost.
