Opposition Warns Of Boycott In The Assembly: You Tricked Us! Balla: I Didn’t Understand Anything

The parliamentary opposition feels used by the majoritywhich used the minority votes to pass the constitutional changes and is nowrefusing to open the lists. MP Rudina Hajdari said that she has submitted a newproposal for 1/3 of the mandates to be decided by the mayor, setting a newthreshold of 1 percent. But despite the opposition warning to boycottparliament, Taulant Balla said the SP is not giving up on its draft.

Minority MPs in parliament say they feel used by the SP,which was voted on July 30 for constitutional changes, but refused to open thelists as demanded by the parliamentary opposition.

Rudina Hajdari asked the SP to reflect, while other MPson the opposition side called for a boycott.

Hajdari: There is only one thing in the headline of this parliament: fraud and dishonesty.

Spiropali: Rudina, keep your mouth shut as you mentioned corruption, both to members of your biological and political family.

Seeing that in front of the Socialists they do notmanage to be divided, Rudina Hajdari gave up the proposal of ranking thecandidates in alphabetical order to join the draft of Myslim Murrizi accordingto which the ranking will be numerical.

With the signature of 8 deputies of the Democraticgroup, it is required that the national threshold be 1%, while it gives theopportunity only to the party chairman to register in more than oneconstituency.

The proposal contradicts their request for 100% openlists, as this document gives the party chairman the right to elect potentialdeputies up to 1/3 of the list.

While the distribution of seats will be done by rankingaccording to the preferential vote of voters. Candidates who are in the saferankings are excluded from this correction of the list.

Murrizi: The maximum you can close 1/3 of the list. How can we be obliged by Damian Bylykbashi's regulation that the Murrizi group must do that it does not make 3%.

Balla: But the Socialists do not give up their model, even ironizing the latest draft brought by the parliamentary opposition.

Balla: I read the proposals of Mrs. Hajdari and I did not understand anything. I will be, but if the people of Elbasan give me zero votes and I come to parliament ?!
