Ukrainian Ambassador To Ora News: We Are Preparing A Meeting Between The Two Countries, Cooperation In Tourism And Economy

In an exclusive interview for Ora News, VolodymyrShkurov, Ambassador of Ukraine to Albania spoke about our country's relationswith Ukraine.
He said that at the beginning of this year an agreementwas reached to open diplomatic units in the respective states.
According to Shkurov, preparations are being made for ameeting between the two countries to discuss points of future co-operation, andadded that tourism is one of the main points of this process.
Shkurov: Efforts have been made to open diplomatic missions and this year an agreement was reached to open these diplomatic units. Most of the time, Albania, being a small country, has had support from Ukraine in the international arena.
In Ukraine, Albania has become a destination. We also have other areas where we can work together. We are preparing the first meeting between the two parties.
Albania is currently on the rise and we have the opportunity to propose new technologies, as we are interested in Albanian products.
Shkurov added that Ukrainian tourists when they returnfrom Albania speak very good words and that this sector is seen as a possibleperspective for them.
Shkurov: The agreement between the two parties could have been possible by activating many agreements reached earlier. Preparing for a meeting to discuss future points of cooperation. Tourism is a key point of cooperation between the two countries. We can also have economic cooperation given that Albania is at the helm of the OSCE and then will be at the helm of the UN.
We are very interested in the exchange of tourists between the two countries. During the pandemic, Albania had very good numbers. While tourists when they return from Albania speak very good words. Everyone sees it as a possible perspective for visiting the different places and beauties that Albania has.
