CEC Registers Boiken Abazi, DP Requests Verification For Tusha, Shkëmbi In The Prosecution

The CEC registers Boiken Abazi as a candidate for deputy in the Tirana constituency of the Vetëvendosje movement.
The State Commissioner requested information from the Directorate of Prisons and it turned out that there are no records in the system. While the Prosecution has not yet responded to the decriminalization sector.
"Regarding the prohibitions provided in article 2, point 2, of law no. 138/2015, for criminal offenses committed outside the territory of the Republic of Albania, the Central Election Commission does not have the competence to conduct verifications" says in the decision of the CEC.
Three names in the prosecution
The CEC has requested the Prosecution to verify three names of candidates for MPs: Boiken Abazi, Pal Shkëmbin and Rezart Tusha.
The first two names were sent for verification by the CEC, while the DP requested information from the Prosecutor for Rezart Tusha, 8th in the Durrës list of this political force.
