"We Are Negotiating For Another Amount Of Vaccines" Rama: We Will Facilitate The Tourist Season, Covid Will Not Be Digested

Prime Minister Edi Rama from Vlora has announced that the state is negotiating for another amount of vaccines that will arrive in Albania.

Rama said that mass vaccination is intended, as an opportunity to turn Covid-19 into a common virus.

Rama: We have received confirmation for more than 38 thousand vaccines from AstraZeneca that come tomorrow. While we are negotiating another contract for another quantity of vaccines we hope that will give us the opportunity for mass vaccination after a few weeks in order to hit the links of the infection chains to facilitate the tourist season this year. This is the objective.

To get out of this tunnel for the last time, within this year we will ensure that we have all the doses for revaccination in case it will be a target of all countries because Covid will not disappear and be digested. But in addition to vaccination it will turn into a virus like all the others.
