Arrests of journalists in protest, International Press Institute: We condemn attacks on media freedom

The International Press Institute has reacted to the arrests in the protests for the murder of Klodian Rasha.

According to IPI, Albanian authorities should launch an investigation into the unjustified detentions of journalists and respond to allegations by reporters that they were attacked by police while in detention.

IPI Deputy Director Scot Griffen said he strongly condemned these clear and flagrant attacks on media freedom.
