Lying Down, With Their Hands Behind Their Heads And Surrendering, The Symbolic Protest Of The Youth In Tirana

It was a different protest this afternoon of the youth. Determined not to give up their cause, they came out again today at 18:00 to protest in front of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Interior and the Police Directorate.

But unlike other days, the protesters have been quiet, while one can not talk about the Rapid Intervention forces who have often intervened by throwing tear gas in order to disperse them or make escorts.

Protesters marched from one institution to another shouting "Down with dictatorship!" and then there were groups of them lying on the ground and putting their hands behind their backs as if they were handcuffed.

This is a symbolic sign to show that they are not violent and are ready to be handcuffed

This happened in front of the Ministry of Interior, the Prime Ministry or the Police Directorate.
