"Ordered Violence Against Protesters", DP Sues Ardi Veliu In SPAK: To Be Suspended From Duty
The Democratic Party addresses the SPAK, requesting the investigation of the General Director of Police, Ardi Veliu and his suspension from duty.
The DP accuses the director of the State Police, Ardi Veliu, of being responsible for the violence exercised by the police against the protesters who took to the square after the murder of Klodian Rasha by a police officer, on December 8, 2020.
DP charges Ardi Veliu for 5 criminal offenses ranging from abuse of office to obstruction of the right to protest and manifest.

- 4. Other intentional injuries
- 5. Failure to take measures to end the illegal situation ", it is said in the notification.
"In the peaceful protests against the spirit of police repression and governing abusiveness, excessive use of police violence, insane use of tear gas has been observed. He was dumped in very large quantities on the Boulevard and in residential areas with high density of citizens, who were not part of the protest", it is noted in the criminal lawsuit against the General Director of Police, informs the press office of the Democratic Party.
DP also demands the removal of Ardi Veliu from office.
