February 14 Elections, Vjosa Osmani And Albin Kurti Join Forces: We Will Compete Together

The president of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani and the head of VV Albin Kurti have appeared in a joint conference where they announced the cooperation for the February 14 elections.

Osmani announced that together with Kurti they have reached an agreement that represents the will of Kosovar citizens, signing the coalition between each other.

"The agreement reached today represents the will of the citizens of Kosovo. We inform you of our union that goes beyond. For two decades our country has been led by a wrong political mindset.

To change that, we will compete together on lists that will speak with your voice, inspire as you inspire, and dare to face any challenge as you do. What has been achieved today goes beyond individual names or ideological beliefs.

Because this agreement in the foundation has common goals, that of fighting the capture of the state and the commitment to recovery in dignity and in the state", said Osmani.

Former Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced that on January 16, Vetëvendosje Movement will submit the list of candidates for MP, while he said that he will conduct the election campaign together with Osmani.

Kurti has meant that this coalition aims to elect a new prime minister, while Vjosa Osmani will hold the post of President.

"Today, one month after the parliamentary elections in Kosovo, we are happy to announce that we will be together on a list. The incumbent President Vjosa Osmani and I the former Prime Minister, in our political entities, you will find us in the same place and for the same purpose.

We have made the agreement of political principles and goals, which we have just signed. This is an agreement for a state with justice and without corruption, an agreement for a society with justice and education for all citizens without distinctions, favors and discrimination.

We will be and engage together in the election campaign. On Saturday, January 16, we will submit the list of candidates for the elections of February 14, 2021.

The year 2020 has shown that the country needs a new prime minister and a new president. We have the president who has performed his duty with dignity," said Kurti.
