Albania-Kosovo Union, Most Citizens Support The Idea Of Albin Kurti

The idea recently put forward by Albin Kurti for the union between Kosovo and Albania through a referendum seems to be supported by the majority of citizens. Asked by Ora News, many of them think that this action is delayed and should have been done earlier in the years following Kosovo's independence.

13 years ago Kosovo declared independence while during this time on both sides of the border was discussed the union between the two states.

The idea of removing the border was mentioned by Prime Minister Rama and former Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj, but the most vocal was the winner of the elections in Kosovo, the candidate for Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

On the 13th birthday of the state of Kosovo, Kurti returned to the idea of national unity through a referendum.

But citizens in Albania think this initiative is overdue.

"We are late, it should have been done on time. Kosovo, Albania and the Albanians of Macedonia. "

There are those who, beyond the political rhetoric of the leaders in Tirana and Pristina, believe that the two countries will become one.

"A future will come, they will unite, it does not matter now or later."

Other citizens have hopes for the winner of the elections, Albin Kurti.

"Hope the one who won now in Kosovo makes it a reality, they are real patriots."
