"Cancel The Fee!" Students To Universities: We Do Not Pay Without Being In The Classroom

Masters and Bachelor students, unlike before when they demanded a halving of the fee, now see it right to cancel it. This with the claim that he was not in the auditorium and did not receive the full service. Rectorates, on the other hand, say they find it impossible to meet such a requirement.
Due to the pandemic, students have been forced to take online tuition, which is why they are seeking fee cancellation for both study cycles.
Civil society activists say that despite the 8000 signatures collected for the cancellation of the fee, the University of Tirana has not made any changes.
"It is about both cycles of study. As long as students are not in college but at home, covering the costs of internet, literature, this fee has no reason why it should be paid."
On the other hand, the UT Rectorate itself has stated that such a request is impossible to approve as financial issues would take a long time to change.
So far there has been a reduction only in the registration fee for one student.
Meanwhile, the Agricultural University has made public the document that shows the deadline for payment of the fee, because the fees can not be postponed more than that, say representatives of this institution.
These university decisions will be opposed by young people through protests.
"We are working on this type of organization. Unfortunately we can not gather in protest because of the pandemic. But we hope that soon we will not only return to the auditorium but also have a protest to oppose all these decisions."
Unofficially, some young people have been informed that they can return to the auditorium after two weeks, but in this regard an official response is expected from the Technical Committee of Experts.
