DP Denounces New Scandal With Reconstruction Funds: 'May 5' Buildings Turn Into Luxury Offices

Former Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku through a statement to the media has denounced the new scandal with reconstruction funds. Tabaku says that 5 of the 12 buildings in the "5 May" area are being turned into luxury offices for the government and the municipality.
Jorida Tabaku: 5 out of 12 buildings in the “5 Maji” area are being turned into luxury offices for the “Thieves of Disaster” in the government and the municipality. The November 26 earthquake showed us all that this government had stolen so much that even basic food was not found in civil emergency warehouses.
The disaster that struck this area of Tirana is being used by the central government and of course the local government to swallow the property of citizens in the personal and illegal interests of the government. More specifically, in the area "5 Maji" will be built 12 buildings worth 52 million euros; buildings which were to belong to the residents damaged by the earthquake.
We have previously stated that the General Directorate of Taxes, which has not suffered any damage from the earthquake, will occupy one of the new buildings in the reconstruction area.
