"Enough!" Basha: We Can Not Continue To Be The Last Place For Investments In Health

The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, states that Albania today invests less than any other country for health care.

Therefore, according to him, the number of doctors per capita in Albania is the lowest.

Basha: That is why the salaries of our doctors, who are now fighting in the front line against the pandemic, are the lowest. Those who suffer this on their backs are Albanians, who pay expensive bills for medicines and medical treatment.

The opposition leader says this situation does not have to continue.

Basha: There is no need to continue like this. We can and should invest more in health. We can better pay our doctors and nurses and increase their number. We can reimburse more for medicines and make them affordable for everyone. All of these can be done.

The main opposition accuses Rama that for 7 years he left the Albanians in the mud with unfulfilled promises like the one for free health care.

Basha: Enough. It can no longer go on like this. Together we will remove evil and bring change and new hope to Albania.
