US Ambassador Yuri Kim again urges the President and Parliament to rush to make the Constitutional Court operational by the end of this year. The American diplomat hails the quick reaction of these two institutions after they published the lists of candidates. But at the end of her twitter post, Yuri Kim appeals to the Judicial Appointments Council to evaluate the candidates. Making it Constitutional by the end of December, according to the US, is imperative.
The US ambassador has once again dropped the gong for the establishment of the Constitutional Court within this year, as it has been declared the target by all parties.
Recalling a post of hers on November 19, after the Presidency and Parliament published their respective lists of candidates for members of the Constitutional Court, Yuri Kim wrote on twitter that “it would be good for the Constitutional Court to be set up by the end of this year."
The American diplomat remembers that there are still 6 weeks left, so she asks the Presidency, the Parliament and the justice institutions to continue their work urgently.
