Police Behavior During The Demolition Of The Theater, The People's Advocate With 32 Pages Report: Accelerate The Investigation For RENEA

The People's Advocate has completed the administrative investigation regarding the behavior of the State Police in the demolition of the National Theater on May 17 this year.

In the 32-page report, the People's Advocate has come up with a series of recommendations, the most important of which is to speed up the investigation of criminal proceedings against the State Police for "abuse of duty" in connection with sending RENEA forces to the former Theater building before the demolition.

The People's Advocate urges the most important law enforcement authorities in the country such as the Ministry of Interior, State Police and the General Prosecutor's Office to take a series of administrative and legal measures to punish a series of individual or organized behaviors observed in the activity of the Police of the State during the operation to destroy the National Theater.
