Measures Added/ Technical Committee Of Experts: Weddings, Funeral Ceremonies And Gatherings Are Prohibited

In a statement to the media, the Technical Committee of Experts called for additional measures in the fight against Covid-19.

According to the director of IPH, Albana Fico, the gathering of more than 10 people in open and closed environments is prohibited.

Other measures include banning family celebrations or funeral ceremonies.

Party gatherings or any other kind are also prohibited.

"As we have indicated every day in the daily reporting, the situation remains under control, but at an increased level of risk due to the increase of positive daily cases, clearly expressed with an increase of 14-day incidence in 243 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants ", Said Fico, among others.

"The total number of active cases has increased to 504 per 100 thousand inhabitants.

The number of patients in hospitals has increased compared to a week ago.

406 patients were hospitalized in the three covid hospitals. Currently, about 20-25% of the capacities are still free in the four structures dedicated to handling cases, while the scenarios of involvement of regional hospitals are ready at the moment when there will be exhaustion of four Covid hospitals", she continued.

The director of IPH added that the total closure of the country is the last option from the scenarios on the table of the Technical Committee of Experts.

Additional measures:

1.Prohibit gatherings with more than 10 people in open and closed places

2.Prohibit party meetings and rallies

3.Prohibit conferences, holiday ceremonies, wedding ceremonies, and events beyond the family of funeral ceremonies, until a second order.
