Pandemic, Basha: Government Without Any Plan, Real Data Is Deleted

The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, held a meeting today with citizens who have won the battle with the coronavirus, who also showed the many difficulties they have gone through.

Basha said that there is no plan and no measure by the Prime Minister to help the people.

"It is the lack of testing and the fact that Albania is the country with the lowest testing in the world, is the main responsibility of the government. The main concern I have is that despite all the bad things that are happening, with the multiplication of cases we still do not see any reflection from the government. No plans by the prime minister, no measures to help the people. Many people will pass the virus on at home, the government has a duty not to lack medicines," Basha said.

The opposition leader accused the data of not being published as it is.

"The problem is that the data is deleted. And when I say this I do not mean simply to make an accusation that the prime minister or the government is hiding the data, it is more serious than that.

If the data is not deleted and published as it really is, then measures are taken because it is known that a certain percentage of those who are infected today, after a week or after 10 days will need hospital treatment.

So if you have 500 or 1 thousand infected today I know that these, ie this number of patients, 50, 60 or 70 you will have to treat in the hospital and start taking measures that today after 10 days do not leave for the last moment. Data analysis is done and doctors are assisted. And what this government is doing is leaving the situation free.

Therefore, the tests are the main ones because the tests really show how widespread the infection is and based on that, then it takes measures for the treatment of people "- said among others Basha.
