Taulant Balla, The Youngest 'Spokesman' Of The KLA, The Mocking Sector For Kosovo
By Enver Robelli -
While the situation with the coronavirus in Albania is in danger of spiraling out of control, while there is a risk that the EU will not open membership negotiations with Albania, the socialist rulers in Tirana have found a theme: Kosovo after the recent arrests of 4 politicians who joined the KLA.
Kosovo is misused for patriotism.
The head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, according to a SP court television, had decided to request the establishment of an investigative commission on the "so-called KLA prisons in Albania".
21 years after the war, a socialist politician, for electoral needs and the political battle of the Tirana town, returns to an issue that official Albania has never been interested in. The situation created in Kosovo after the recent arrests is now being used to make quasi-patriotic poses and scenes stale.
Taulant Balla probably does not know, but for the existence of these prisons, trials have been held in Pristina (by international justice) and in 2011 three KLA members were sentenced to 15, 12 and 7 years in prison.
Lulzim Basha is not to blame for these prisons, but the Albanian state is not interested in what is happening in its territory.
Let the socialists develop the battle with Lulzim Basha around the topics of Tirana and not at the expense of Kosovo, wanting to pretend to be patriots. This has nothing to do with patriotism.
Only with miserable efforts to divert attention from the great problems that Albania is facing, including, in the first place, corruption and organized crime for several decades.
And here everyone has taken the bite, position and opposition. Now they speak stupid things.
Keep it to yourself and leave Kosovo to its own problems.
