"Any Demotivation, Drowsiness And Indifference Does Not Serve" Meta Initiative To Promote Mass Voting

President Ilir Meta is holding an online meeting with representatives of civil society in order to raise public awareness that in a democratic system, his power is only his vote.

The head of state underlines that a massive turnout and an exemplary electoral process would be a major contribution to overcoming this very protracted transition.

"Every demotivation, drowsiness and indifference of the citizens, serves neither democracy nor the citizen himself, to be active in building the system of accountability. Every citizen who does not vote has no right to complain about the Government tomorrow," Meta underlined.

Present at this meeting, Gert Shella from INFOÇIP stated that the citizens are "under undemocratic pressure, mainly with dismissals, to orient the vote and this is unacceptable and reprehensible."

For her part, the president underlined that April 25 will be a referendum.

"The problems of our entire democratic system are problems of the legitimacy of our institutions. This problem is solved on April 25, through a referendum.

We must all come together to help the voters so that they do not have problems in this process, but go towards this process with the full guarantee that their vote will not be affected."
