"There Will Definitely Be A Tightening Of Measures", Rama Announces: Fines For Bars And Parties Will Be Reviewed

Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the anti-covid measures will be reviewed, while there can be a tightening of the measures.

"The Technical Committee will meet tomorrow, they are discussing. We have heard them, they are worried. There will be a tightening of measures. They insist that the current measures should be recpected. People to wear masks, the curfew, subjects to follow protocols. We can add other measures," Rama said.

The head of government went on to say that the fines against the premises will be reviewed, but he did not hesitate to show that measures will be taken against political parties as well.

Rama: I have repeatedly instructed all structures and candidates for MPs to adhere to the rule and not to have any violations, I have seen that the violations are transversal.

Everyone does it, from the president to the DP and the undertaking of the president's wife, to the SP and others still. Tomorrow we will wait for the conclusions of the Technical Committee of Experts and together with the adoption of whatever the committee suggests and the review of fines for the premises we will look at the sanctions for the parties, without any exception.

Any denunciation from any kind of meeting will be punished, those who hold meetings will be fined personally, be they ministers, deputies, street oppositionists, the president or whoever. I personally am very strict and there is no reason not to implement it.
