Increase In Pensions And Assistance, Monthly Salary For Newborns. Basha's Promises After April 25

The Democratic Party presented today the program "Albania gains social welfare". For Albanians, these are vital elections, says Basha, while underlining that in the April 25 elections, the people must choose "between dignity or those who use poverty and abandonment in the most inhuman way to force them to sell your vote."

Basha says that unlike the government of Prime Minister Rama who abandoned pensioners, people with disabilities, families in need, the Democratic Party will pay great attention.

It is not a plan of miracles, but a plan of stabilization, normalization and recovery. A work plan for which we have been helped by the best specialists and experts in the field. A work plan that will be implemented by professionals immediately after the election victory" said Basha this morning during the presentation of the program.

The chairman of the Democratic Party is committed to increase the pension twice as much as the inflation for 650 000 Albanian pensioners and to immediately double the economic assistance for all families in need.

Basha's promises

  • I am committed to increasing pensions for 650,000 Albanian pensioners, twice the inflation rate and at least 5% per year!
  • I am committed to immediately double the economic assistance to all families in need.
  • I am committed that people with disabilities will be a real part of our government decision-making and not just passive beneficiaries or victims of government indifference, contempt or corruption.
  • They will be part of the consultations and decisions on the design and implementation of social reforms that are directly related.
  • I am committed to fully subsidizing interest on home loans for 20,000 families and young couples.
  • We will pay 100% of the bank interest, for every loan that a young couple or a young family takes to buy an apartment.
  • 5000 such per year during the first four years, 20 000 couples and young families will benefit from the 100% interest subsidy of the loans they will receive for their side.
  • Each family will benefit for each newborn a monthly payment of 3 thousand new lek, for the first 5 years of life.
