President Ilir Meta in a statement to the media from the city of Korca has once again denied to make a reaction to the statements of Fatos Nano.
Asked about the comparison with the 7 sins of the Bible by Nano, Meta said that he has zero comment, while he added that gambling and at the same time quoting the Bible is something wrong.
Asked how it is guaranteed that the lists will be clean, President Meta took the opportunity to once again call on political parties to include people with integrity in the lists.
"I do not want to go into details, but the fact that we have made a law on decriminalization shows that it has been a serious problem of our policy, the Assembly, local government and other levels of government.
It is imperative that on April 25 a will be shown by all political forces and citizens to distance themselves from figures who do not represent citizens and have problems that are clear in the Law on Decriminalization.
Parties must compete for figures with integrity."
