Basha's Facebook post
"Working and doing business in Albania is a daily struggle with the government and corrupt officials.
The system that RAMAVIRUS has set up to extort businesses is robbing them 32 days a year to pay 35 different types of taxes and fees.
This account, published by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), proves how fair our decision is to change this stifling system for every household's economy.
With the 9% flat tax, with a unified, easy and predictable taxation system, we will turn Albania into an attractive place to work, invest and do business.
We know that our decisions go against the interests of a handful of people linked to Edi Rama's personal power, but we will make those decisions to cleanse the economy of RAMAVIRUS and free the vast majority of Albanians from depression and the RAMA crisis.
The economy will not work to enrich government officials and their clients, but will produce prosperity, creating new jobs.
There is no force to stop the change!”
