Half A Billion ALL: The Municipality Of Tirana Receives 11 Additional Contracts, Fusha Takes 301 Million

For infrastructure investments, the Municipality ofTirana has procured billions of ALL, at least in the last two years, contractswhich in almost half of the cases have been developed without competition.

But in addition, an amount of 519.8 million ALL has beenadded to the companies that have been declared winners of the initial contract.

And according to APP data, from 2018 to June 2020, themunicipality of the capital has approved 11 additional contracts.

Fusha company through negotiation has won more than halfof their total.

Only through two additional contracts, the economicoperator in question has received a fund of about 301 million ALL.

It is about the Urban Requalification of Skënderbej Square,the first and second phase.

An initial fund of 105.5 million ALL has been added tothe initial contract for the first phase, while for the second phase the valuereaches the figures of 195.6 million ALL.

However, the latest addition to a contract turns out tobe the one given in June this year with a value of 12.6 million ALL.

Through negotiation, this contract was awarded to theunion of economic operators RSM Company and Egland Shpk.
