Basha Reveals Rama's Bargaining For The Abolition Of Coalitions: You Become Prime Minister, I Become President!
The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, revealed today that Prime Minister Rama's request for the abolition ofpre-election coalitions was much earlier than the parliamentary oppositionitself demanded.
According to him, for a month Rama has sent hisintermediaries with a request.
Basha: For a month and a half, Edi Rama has sent his intermediaries almost every day with the same message. You become Prime Minister, I become President, just remove the coalitions.
Edi Rama is not worried for people, he is only worried about his power. This is how Edi Rama sees politics, as a dirty bargain, as a game with small gates to steal and extort Albania as he has done in these 7 and a half years.
Basha also showed the period when it happened and theanswer given by him.
Basha: It is for now, the period March-April-May. The bazaar demanded, but the bazaar did not take and will never take.
But while Rama declared today in favor of opening thelists, through which he said that the coalition scheme is impossible, Basha hada warning about what the Prime Minister described as fleeing.
Basha: The outgoing Prime Minister cannot touch the Constitution with 122 deputies, half of whom do not represent anyone except the money of Taulant Ballës and the favors with which they were bought and sold.
Every step in this direction is the end of the June 5 agreement, a flagrant violation of the consensus reached on Albania and Albanians.
The DP has never ruled out discussing the system, I have made clear my preference for a clean majority and a two-chamber parliament. We are determined to have such a discussion, but not with the Balla-opposition in the last three weeks of July, with all Albanians.
And decision-making belongs to all Albanians through a popular referendum. The decision belongs to the Albanians and not to a man terrified by the result that awaits him in the next elections.
