Basha Convinced: Next November 28 Will Find Albania Even Closer To Europe
In commemoration of the Independence Day and the Liberation of the Homeland, the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha chose to pay homage to the cemetery of the Martyrs of the Nation and laid a wreath at the Monument "Mother Albania".
Today we remember with reverence and bow with respect before the work and sacrifice of all the sons and daughters of our nation who sacrificed everything on the altar of national freedom and independence.
Afterwards he paid homage and laid a wreath at the monument of Ismail Qemali on the Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" in Tirana, honoring the founders of the Albanian state on November 28, 1912.
In the message addressed to the Albanians, Basha called on the Albanians to unite to overcome the consequences of this crisis and pandemic and to come out stronger.
Lulzim Basha: Today is a day of celebration and joy, but it finds us different from every other year. Albania and Albanians are facing the challenge of overcoming the pandemic, which has taken hundreds of our fellow citizens by hurting many families, while thousands more are suffering the health consequences and much more the economic and social consequences of the pandemic.
Basha expressed his conviction that next November 28 will find Albania even healthier.
"In these conditions, this day and this holiday is a reminder of the strength and power of our nation. I am convinced of the power and strength of the Albanian citizens, of your power and strength to be together and to overcome together the consequences of this crisis and pandemic and to come out stronger, more united and more determined.
I am convinced that next November 28 will find us with a healthier, better and closer Albania to Europe. I wish you from the bottom of my heart a happy Independence Day! Happy Flag Day ”
