Tirana vice Mayor calls businesses to vacate public spaces

The City of Tirana has begun a new operation to free up the public spaces in the capital.The Vice Mayor Arbjan Maz-niku has issued a call to all business owners or individuals who have occupied the public spaces, telling them to clear them now voluntarily, before the state takes penalizing measures. Mr. Mazniku had this to say:"There will be measures against those who are occupying the public spaces, which are meant to be used by the public.The City Council will be adopting some new penalties for those who occupy or damage these places. They will also have to pay a legal obligation in order to compensate for the damage that they have done." /Oranews.tv/
