The use of public functions in the interest of the election campaign by socialist exponents has not gone unnoticed by citizens.
The latest report to the Central Election Commission was made for the socialist MP Ervin Bushati, at the same time chairman of the SP for Tirana.
According to the denunciation from the citizen, Bushati, on January 15, held a political activity with the teachers and students of the Misto Mame school, in unit no. 8, the constituency of the socialist deputy.
According to this report, when the school was supposed to be online, the socialist gathered students and teachers with a sweater wearing the PSTR Hashtag, the SP logo visible, and even, the denouncer continues, on his Facebook page he states that he also distributed gifts. This action of the SP chairman for Tirana contradicts the Electoral Code.
For citizens' reports, the CEC guarantees anonymity, while more denunciations have been registered against the mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj by political parties.
The SMI denounces the fact that Veliaj together with socialist deputies distributes the keys to the reconstructed houses and promotes them as a success of the SP, an action that contradicts the Electoral Code.
While for Prime Minister Rama the reports are related to the use of the mask with the SP logo in government activities.
But the willingness of citizens and political parties to denounce the majority for using public functions in the interest of the election campaign has not received the same response from the CEC.
The fine of 1500 lek for the head of the Lushnja Cadastre by the State Commissioner, who had violated the Electoral Code, was considered inexplicable and absurd by the opposition.
