Minister Lleshaj Informs The Citizens: You Will Not Receive Services If You Do Not Update The Civil Status

The Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj, has announced that an initiative has been taken to register all citizens' data in the civil registry.

Lleshaj said that the package is ready, while emphasizing that citizens who do not update the data, will not receive basic services.

"The Ministry of Interior will present a complete package of legal initiatives which will make it impossible for a person who does not have a registered residence to survive in Albania. So, we will bring a package that conditions every type of service in Albania by having an updated address in the national civil registry.

Lack of this update will make citizens not receive basic services: School, hospital, bank. The need to update the training process is high, Albanians must be fully registered, but this initiative aims to encourage them and not to curb them", said Lleshaj.
