89th Anniversary Of Birth, President Meta Remembers The Great Dritëro Agolli: The Power Of Thought Came From The People
President Ilir Meta has remembered in honor of his birthday, the great Albanian writer and poet Dritëro Agolli.
In a long dedication, Meta has woven the highest praises for him, as he wrote that "Dritëro was an open door where you could find a wise and found friend".
The Head of State also continued by writing that the reality of the book "The Rise and Fall of Comrade Zylo" is still present today.

Our Dritëro always shines!
The depth of thought, the wise counsel, the strength of character, the wisdom, and in particular the courage to face injustice are a great treasure he left us all, along with artistic masterpieces, sometimes current, inspiring and very girlfriend.
Dritëro was an open door where you could find a wise and found friend. He was and will remain of all, present at all times with his ideas, in art, culture, literature and politics, because the strength of talent, character and power of thought came from the people and the greatness of being in the ranks of seen a modest and simple man, close to the troubles and problems of the farmer, worker and patriotic Albanian, always the first to "fight" with injustice, arrogance, megalomania, bureaucracy and government pressures.
And who would have thought that "The Rise and Fall of Comrade Zylo" would still be so present today as a fable in the state administration, where he still finds both Zylo and Demka.
Today, on his birthday, we all miss Dritëro physically. But he will always be alive among us, on every bookshelf, in the unforgettable memories he left behind and in every valuable advice he gave us to his friends!
