Abolition Of Fuel Tax, Basha Gives The Promise: Within The First 100 Days, Oil Without Quality Will End!
Democrat leader Lulzim Basha has taken over the abolition of the fuel tax previously imposed by the current government.
In a statement to the media after meetings with businesses in the city of Lushnja, Basha stressed that "the abolition of the tax "Rama" on fuel 240 ALL per liter will be an extraordinary help. Our fuel is the most expensive in the region, making any goods and services more expensive and non-competitive."
Basha has promised that this move will be made within the first 100 days of the government, adding that "it will not reduce revenues, on the contrary. In the first year we will have 50 million euros more in the budget, because we will put an end to fuel smuggling."
For exactly 7 years of Edi Rama's regime, they have not marked any substantial investment in the supporting infrastructure for agriculture.
High taxes and unaffordable costs of low quality fuel have made business impossible for most farmers in this area.
