‘Fusha’ Company from the National Theater to the rehabilitation of the "Pyramid"

The Municipality of Tirana has received another "red flag". The tender for the National Theater was assessed with problems. But while the investigations have started and the building has collapsed, the municipality has given 1.3 billion ALL for the rehabilitation of the Pyramid that will be realized by the company "Fusha shpk" and "EDil-al".

The project to build the National Theater started with accusations and also continues with suspicions. Initially, the Municipality of Tirana started the project with the company "Fusha shpk", but after clashes and the approval of the law on opening the tender, the subject withdrew with the argument that the parties did not agree on the criteria and costs to be borne.

Already the procedure has progressed with the qualification of the operator who will prepare the project of the building.

In the Public Procurement Agency it was announced that the winner is the union of operators ‘A&E Enginnering’ shpk and ‘FM Ingengeria SPA’, but “Open Data” has also listed this case with a red flag.

The reason is the avoidance of the lowest bid.

In fact, the union of operators "Gjeokonsult & CO" shpk & "Archispace" shpk, has offered 55 million 635 thousand ALL from 60 million 317 thousand ALL which was the required limit while the winner has offered 60 million 300 thousand ALL.

Meanwhile, the company "Fusha shpk" has already received another project.

 ‘Revitalization of the Tirana Pyramid’, will be realized by the union of operators “Fusha” shpk & “EDIL-AL-IT” shpk, selected as the winner with the offered value of 1.2 billion ALL.

It turns out that there were eight companies participating, 3 of which were disqualified, one of which had not submitted a bid at all.

One of the main criteria for selecting the winner is the fact that competing companies must have performed similar work for an object worth 50% of the fund for the construction of the pyramid.

For years, Mayor Veliaj has promised to change the pyramid, which remains abandoned and extremely degraded.

But apparently with the approach of the elections, it is foreseen to give a high value to eliminate the negative image in the center of Tirana.
