Cakaj Meets Ali Ahmeti: The Albanian Factor Is Inalienable Importance

The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, inthe framework of his official visit to Skopje, held a meeting with the Chairmanof DUI, Ali Ahmeti.

"He has played an extremely important role and has made a very valuable contribution to the process of integration of Albanians in state institutions, increasing their representation in central policies, supporting the membership of Northern Macedonia in NATO and the membership process in The European Union "- said Cakaj in a reaction on Facebook.

Cakaj also said that, among other things, in the meetingwith Ahmeti, they stressed the inalienable importance of the Albanian factor inNorthern Macedonia and the need to close talks between the Republic of Kosovoand Serbia with mutual recognition.Further,Chief Diplomat Cakaj, expressed the conviction that Albania will continue toplay its active role in strengthening the Albanian factor and its constructivework to deepen regional cooperation and develop good neighborliness.
