A Day After The Warning, Meta Publishes The Names Of 97 Deputies: List Of Those Who Raised Their Hand Against The Country's Integration
A day after announcing that every MP who would vote in favor of unilateral changes in the Electoral Code, the President of the Republic Ilir Meta publishes the names of 97 MPs who raised the card the day before in Parliament.
According to the head of state, "this is the list of 97 names that have raised their hand to block Albania's integration and European future".
Full post by President Ilir Meta:
This is the list of 97 names that have raised their hand to block Albania's integration and European future.
Here is the reaction of EPP, after this shameful act:
"By voting for the violation of the June 5 Agreement negotiated by the European Union with the opposition, the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama cast a dark shadow over the upcoming elections in April, which should have been free and fair, and better than previous ones.
WITH THIS ACTION RAMA CLEARLY HINDERS ALBANIA'S EUROPEAN INTEGRATION. More precisely, the violation of the June 5 agreement risks blocking and postponing the first Intergovernmental Conference as the first step in starting EU accession negotiations.
Albania deserves much better than that.
WE CALL ON THE PRESIDENT TO RETURN TODAY'S LAW TO PARLIAMENT.
WE CALL ON PRIME MINISTER RAMA TO REVIEW HIS POSITION FOR THE SAKE OF THE EUROPEAN FUTURE OF THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE ".
TIME FOR REFLECTION!
DEEPEN BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

What President Meta stated yesterday:
"The so-called majority to deepen, as well as the so-called opposition, should not think of closing Albania's integration. Today, the one who raises his hand to touch June 5 raises his hand against the European integration of Albania. I wish they did not.
Whoever raises his hand will have individual responsibilities. Only by respecting the agreement, by holding free and democratic elections, we open negotiations, but also set an example for every other country. Northern Macedonia has given us an excellent example of how to overcome internal problems and resolve crises.
Let no MP forget that his responsibility will be individual, if he raises his hand against the European future".
