Just a few days after taking office at the head of the National Bureau of Investigation, Aida Hajnaj received today in the office the US Ambassador Yuri Kim, who was accompanied by FBI agents.
The meeting lasted about 45 minutes.
Kim is learned to have also met with SPAK prosecutors and leader Arben Kraja.
“It is now the phase of selection of judicial police officers and the US embassy has provided assistance in this regard,” reported Ora News journalist Keti Banushi.
60 judicial police officers will be part of NBI and this was the purpose of the meeting.
SPAK and NBI are designed as a US FBI. Following the selection, 60 judicial police officers will be sent to New Jersey to undergo training.
The opening of the competition is expected from Mrs. Hajnaj.
