Rama Message To Brussels, Basha Reacts: Rama's Nervousness Is Surprising

The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha has reacted through a post on Twitter after the message of Prime Minister Rama addressed to the EU commissioners.

Lulzim Basha was this morning in an online meeting with EU Commissioner Mariya Gabriel and representatives of the Modul University of Vienna, where the focus of discussions was education, presented the online education platform.

This attracted the attention of Prime Minister Edi Rama who did not leave without attacking the EU commissioners.

Basha says that Rama did nothing to bring integration closer, but he took steps back and is determined to do everything to move forward with European integration.

"Rama's nervousness is surprising. I, DP and Albanians have defined our path since December ‘90: it is the path that leads to Europe.

Today, everyone understands that without approaching the EU, Albania will not be able to move forward.

For 8 years, not only did Rama do nothing to bring integration closer, but he took steps backwards. I am determined to do everything to move forward with European integration, to bring about real change, quality education and dignified employment for Albanians here in Albania.

Acknowledgments EU, EC for the unstinting help they have given and will give to our country."

"Someone in Brussels should tell the commissioners who spend their working time paid by the taxes of the peoples of Europe, to make electoral video chats with Lulëzim Basha, that this is called interference in the internal electoral campaign of an EU candidate country!" It was said in Rama's message to Brussels.
